data-mm-id=”_o9zo3tuhb”>Hurricane Idalia made landfall in Florida on Wednesday morning as a very strong Category 3 storm. While most people are seeking shelter from the historic storm, there are two types of people who are braving the conditions: news teams and idiots. Both were on display on CNN this morning as two guys on an inflatable duck floated through the background of a live spot from Derek Van Dam.Florida Man strikes again pic.twitter.com/uBcKuVy1i4— Brendon Leslie (@BrendonLeslie) August 30, 2023The thing is, when you've got every news network having reporters go towards the dangerous storm like some kind of basic cable Jackass stunt, there are going to be people who do stuff like this. Especially when it's a chance to get on television. (All apologies to the Jackass crew who have provided so much entertainment to us over the years while avoiding natural disasters.)Here's a FOX News correspondent up to his knees in flood water this morning in Clearwater, Florida. Even his coworkers back in the studio are voicing concerns about how dangerous this actually is. don't try this at home, kids pic.twitter.com/akUQJFewEq— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 30, 2023It seems like this will go on until some is actually washed away or hit by a flying object on live television, but even then it will only be one person in 30 years. A storm like this only comes around once every century or so. At least until the next one.

Surprisingly enough, Serie A title holders Juventus failed to beat Sassuolo at home on Sunday. Despite Leonardo Bonnuci opening the scoring for the Old Lady, they allowed the visitors to bounce back, equalize and take the lead, before a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty snatched a point back for them. Goals for Sassuolo were scored by Jeremie Boga and Francesco Caputo.
Caputo scored the one which saw the game turn on its head after a failed attempt at a clearance by 20-year-old Matthijs de Ligt and a goalkeeping blunder by 41-year-old Gianluigi Buffon.

Speaking to his club s official website, Khaldoon said City would seek to strengthen further and would not limit themselves to younger players if readymade, experienced performers are what Guardiola requires.

Goals at the start of each half ensured Mali advanced to the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals with a 2-1 victory over Burkina Faso.
Mali have not trailed in the tournament so far and their chances of doing that were minimised when Edmond Tapsoba put through his own goal three minutes in, but Burkina Faso had Herve Koffi to thank for keeping the deficit to just one at the break.
Lassine Sinayoko doubled Mali’s lead with the first chance of the second period and Aston Villa winger Bertrand Traore brought Burkina Faso back into it from the penalty spot. Mali, however, held on to book their spot against Ivory Coast in the last eight despite a late offside scare.
