Griezmann, 27, has been linked with a move to Barcelona after enjoying another fine season with Atletico, scoring 27 goals in all competitions.

Suarez strongly suggested the France international, who is contracted until mid-2022, would be making the move to Camp Nou.

It makes the club proud to bring players of this quality like Antoine, like [Ousmane] Dembele and [Philippe] Coutinho came, he told Radio Rincon.

Sergio Ramos is calm over his future, as speculation mounts that the experienced Spain international defender could swap Real Madrid for Manchester United.

Ramos has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League giants United, who are preparing to play hard ball over in-demand goalkeeper David de Gea.

Real are desperate to sign Madrid native De Gea but Louis van Gaal and Co. want one of the club s prized assets in return, preferably Ramos.

Premier League preview: Arsenal v Newcastle

Newcastle produced a spirited display on Boxing Day and came away empty handed, but can they bounce back against Arsenal on Saturday?

Goals from James Perch and Papiss Cisse and an own goal from Jonny Evans had Newcastle on the verge of an historic victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

However, Alan Pardew s side was unable to claim at least a point as United ran out 4-3 winners in wet conditions.

The defeat was Newcastle s seventh in nine Premier League fixtures, sending the club down to 15th position, just five points clear of the dreaded relegation zone.

It is important for Newcastle to put the disappointment behind them but all eyes will be on how they respond when they make the trip to Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Genoa 3 AC Milan 0: Unbeaten run comes crashing to an end as Paletta sees red

AC Milan wasted an opportunity to extend their six-game unbeaten run and go top of Serie A after a 3-0 defeat at Genoa.

A win would have moved the Rossoneri ahead of Juventus, who play Sampdoria on Wednesday, but Vincenzo Montella s men could not reproduce the performance that led to victory over the Italian champions at the weekend.

Nikola Ninkovic s first-half header, a Juraj Kucka own-goal and smart finish by Leonardo Pavoletti within the last 10 minutes secured victory for Genoa in a bad-tempered game at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, with Gabriel Paletta dismissed for Milan after a wild two-footed challenge.

Milan rarely threatened against an organised Genoa side that resolutely defended their early lead, and Montella will hope the defeat is a temporary setback…

Kerzhakov ponders Zenit exit

Zenit striker Alexander Kerzhakov is considering his options at the club, .

The Russia international is no longer considered an indispensable member of the starting line-up, with boss Luciano Spalletti warming up to the idea of playing Hulk as a centre forward.

Kerzhakov was one of several Zenit players who voiced their discontent following the arrival of Hulk and Axel Witsel in the summer transfer window, and it appears his relationship with the Italian coach is at an all time low.

He is, therefore, thinking about leaving the club in the summer transfer window, and there is every chance he will hand in a transfer request, that is unless Luciano Spalletti gets the boot at the end of the current campaign.

Alexander Kerzhakov, 30, returned to Zenit in Janu…
